Just got the weird experience of having a #ghost sound during a #zoom call. It sounded like a voice but too low and distorted to be understandable. Every time the voice was always ending with a beep sound, like a CB. Everyone in the call could hear it. So we closed the call and switch to a different callID. Anybody else had that before?
It's also possible someone's computer is poorly shielded and is picking up local radio signals which are then fed into your conference call.
@abortretryfail oooh. That's interesting. But then, changing callID would not have changed anything. Also, turning their mic on mute would have cut the noise. But it ap}arently didn't. We were all on mute and hearing the voices.
@judeswae carry your cat with you next time it will perhaps thwart those vibes
@judeswae NSA spying on zoomers be like
@judeswae (Cue 500Million fediverse citizens telling you to use Jitsi instead...)
But no, that does sound odd?
